Hi, I’m Shauni

Shauni Kawelo, APCC

Hi, I’m Shauni. I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m a graduate of Pepperdine University’s Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology program, where I developed a deep commitment to supporting others through compassionate, evidence-based care, verified by Psychology Today. My path into this work has been shaped by both traditional and nontraditional clinical experiences, including providing therapy in equine-assisted settings.

That experience expanded my appreciation for healing through connection, presence, and the unique ways people process and grow.

In addition, I bring over five years of experience in ABA therapy, where I supported individuals and families through behavioral challenges with patience, structure, and care. This work strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and build meaningful, trusting relationships.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in creating a space where you feel safe to show up as your full self. I believe healing happens when you feel seen, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you—exploring your experiences, building insight, and developing tools to help you feel more grounded and connected in your everyday life.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of support, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you.

Our Clients

Take a look at what our clients have to say about our work and
dedication that keeps them coming back for more.

I was initially apprehensive, but turned hopeful when Nadia approached our work together with compassion, patience, and perception. She shared her observations and posed challenging questions without judgment, which gave me the space to grow consciously and subconsciously.

My loved ones have seen a positive change in the way that I approach challenging situations at home, at work, and in life. The best part about working with Nadia is knowing that I can be honest, and for better or worse, she will continue to work with me on a path towards a higher level of healing and self-discovery.

A friend encouraged me to try teletherapy when I found myself in an unexpected state of despair following a failed, dysfunctional relationship.
